Chrome LINUX OS GUEST MODE : Create Text File Using Terminal Commands |
Hey guys, this is unpossible pog, today I will teach you guys how to create a text file using terminal that is command prompt in Guest mode of Chrome OS.
Let's open terminal which is on the task bar.
Let's create a directory that is folder called youtube.
Now check all the folders.
If you want to check the location, then click on HOME.
Let's enter inside youtube folder.
There are 2 ways to create text file.
One is by using CAT command.
Type file name after CAT command.
By using this command, you can simply enter the content.
Lets type the content.
To save and exit, you have to press control plus D.
then to check content inside text file, type cat then type file name.
Txt is not compulsory while creating text file.
To append, that is to add extra line type cat , then double greater than sign then file name.
I will type I am fine, how are you? Another way to create text file is to type touch command then type file name.
Lets check the content inside unpog2 file.
Le'ts add some content inside this file by using the same cat command damn son!!Now lets check the content.
Now lets check the files inside folder by typing dir command.
There are 2 text files.
To rename file, type command MV then the current name of the filethen new name that you want.
The file name is changed.
To remove file, type command RM then file name.
To go back to previous directory type, cd then dash that is minus symbol(-) to remove folder, you have to type RMDIR command, but that will not work because that folder should be empty.
So lets go back to the youtube folder and remove that file then you can come back and delete the folder youtube.
