Oracle Recognized as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Application Suites by Gartner
Oracle today announced that it has been named a Leader in Gartner’s first-ever 2018 Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Application Suites. The company was evaluated for its ability to execute and completeness of vision.
Traditionally, configure, price, quote (CPQ) technology was viewed only as a selling tool. However with increased customer expectations and sales reps forced to do more with less, CPQ technology has transformed into a key enabler driving improved buying experiences and high quality customer experiences. Designed with artificial intelligence capabilities and pre-packaged integrations to customer experience (CX) and ERP systems, Oracle CPQ Cloud is one of the only extendable enterprise-grade cloud solution supporting the complete quote-to-cash process—from customer inquiry to order fulfillment enabling businesses to increase sales productivity and improve margins.
“In today’s competitive landscape, customer experience needs to be a part of an organization’s DNA. Oracle CPQ Cloud enables a modernized sales process resulting in an unprecedented customer experience through all channels, while increasing user adoption and average deal size and volume,” said Ken Volpe, senior vice president of applications development, Oracle. “We believe Gartner’s recognition of Oracle’s position as a Leader in this space reflects our investments and reinforces our commitment to helping our customers achieve greater efficiency in their sales process.”
Of the 11 vendors Gartner evaluated for the Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Application Suites, Oracle was named a Leader based on the evaluation of its ability to execute, including Product or Service, Overall Viability, Sales Execution/Pricing, Market Responsiveness/Record, Marketing Responsiveness/Record, Marketing Execution, Customer Experience, and Operations, and its completeness of vision, including Market Understanding, Marketing Strategy, Sales Strategy, Offering (Product) Strategy, Business Model, Vertical/Industry Strategy, Innovation, and Geographic Strategy.
According to Gartner, vendors positioned as Leaders “have the ability to execute their vision through products, services and demonstrated, solid business results in the form of revenue and earnings. Leaders have significant successful customer deployments in a wide variety of industries, and with multiple proof points for deployments of more than 500 users. They demonstrate consistently above-average customer experience satisfaction. Leaders are often the vendors against which other providers in the market measure themselves.”
