Peerflix : Stream torrent (without downloading) via command line in Linux Mint (Ubuntu)
hello friends I hope you're doing great it's been really a long time since Iuploaded any video on youtube so here I am welcome to my another video in thisvideo I'm gonna show you how you can streamtorrents live via command line without actually downloading it using a toolcalled as peerflix so let's see how to installand run this on Linux Mint first of all you need toinstall the node.
Js so I just open the command line terminal and as it's not available in the repository so.
we will be adding the PPA so just type this sudo add-apt repository the PPA here Chris dash node.
Js so hit in enter give your password Enter to continue so this node.
Js PPA is added next to run the systemupdate this was just type here sudo apt get update, hit enter well its updated now next type this sudo apt-get install nodejs and hit enter Press Y and enter again to continue so we just wait here till the download completes so the node.
Js is now installed next, we will install the peerflix, so type this sudo npm install -g peerflix hit enter and just wait here till the process completers so the peerflix is now insatalled next I'm going to cause this terminal and letme open this file, it's having the torrent link so I'm going to copy this torrent linkin and again open the terminal and just type here peerflix space and am going to do paste this torrentlink you so let me paste this and after that i have to give the option for media player so i'm gonna give this as VLC so you can also give here mplayer so I'm choosing this one as VLC so after typing hit enter and just wait for thisprocess and you can see you a this video is being played and there is no need for downloading this wedo it is streaming life so that's all for now offering I hopethis video was helpful for you thanks for watching.
